Stormy Lake

There are a lot of really nice lakes in Northern Wisconsin, but very few compare to Stormy Lake. The Marl bottom and extreme clarity of Stormy Lake give it a beautiful Caribbean-like aqua blue coloring. While Stormy is a little more than 15 minutes from the stores in Eagle River, you can find gas in nearby Conover. There are parts of the lake that offer high speed dsl internet which is a nice perk. The lake is pretty much a huge swimming pool. It's great for all water activities, though not the best around for fishing. Stormy is 523 acres and has an average depth of 33 feet. The clarity checks in around 25 feet. There are 4.47 acres of water per owner and 22.81 owners per mile of shoreline. For more information on Stormy Lake you can check out my Blog Post.
