Fishtrap Lake is a nice 339 acre lake with clear water located about ten minutes north of Boulder Junction. The lake connects with High Lake offering a big body of water to explore. One of the nicer things about Fishtrap Lake is that it has a meandering shoreline. Meandering shorelines are far prettier and more interesting (at least in my opinion) than bowl shaped lakes where you can take it all in with one glance. The 6.3 mile shoreline only has about 10.5 owners per mile of shoreline. The water clarity is really good, coming in at 14 feet.
