Gile Flowage

Gile Flowage spans over 3,100 acres and is a large, sprawling reservoir known for expansive open water, numerous bays, and island structure.

Water levels and habitat vary across the system, providing diverse opportunities for warmwater fishing. Boaters should remain aware of shallow areas and submerged timber, particularly outside marked routes. The mostly forested shoreline and broad views give it a true big-water Northwoods feel.
