Sunset Lake

Sunset Lake has some of the prettiest water in the Eagle River area. The water is light blue in color and has a clarity of 17.5 ft. The average depth of the lake is a respectable 15 feet and the max depth is 30 feet. There is no public access to the lake. While the lake is only 207 acres, it does not have a large shoreline so there are not a lot of owners. There is 5.91 acres of water per owner and only about 15 owners per mile of shoreline. The lake is located just about ten minutes west of Eagle River and it is an easy drive to town since Sunset is just a bit north of Hwy 70.
