Watersmeet Lake is the first lake on the Eagle River Chain of Lakes. Since it is the first lake on the chain, a smaller lake, and a short boat ride from the next lake on the chain, Watersmeet Lake doesn't see as much boat traffic as the other lakes. The lake is shallow and has good fishing.
