Bolger Lake
 
     Bolger Lake is a nice lake with great water clarity (18 ft) that is located just outside of Minocqua. While Bolger Lake is not a real big lake (119 acres), it is plenty big enough for recreational activity and it has an interesting shape/shoreline that makes it a pretty lake to look at or paddle along the shoreline of.  There are about 19 owners per mile of shoreline on the lake.

               Bearskin State Trail - The Bearskin Trail is an 18 mile semi-paved trail that isn't groomed in the winter.  It is located just west of Bolger Lake.  The surface is crushed granite and the trail is pretty level.  A trail pass is required for biking.
 
              Paddling Routes:
               No nearby paddling routes, but as a quiet lake with a nice shoreline, Bolger Lake is good for paddling.
 
              Snowmobile Trails:
               The trails of the Cross Country Cruisers Club run just east of Bolger Lake. This club grooms 90 miles of trails that connect to the rest of the trails in Northern Wisconsin.
